Porch Photo 154
In 1961 this country house still looked much as it did when built.
INTERMEDIATE MAJOR ADDITION
A third dormer kept the original style intact when the house
was later extended. Small original front porch remained.
Small porch becomes an extensive wrap around. Massive new brick
chimney and brick porch piers remain true to the underlying architectural
style, while helping bring the intermediate remodeling forward
to a grand statement of country gentility.
CLOSE-UP OF STEPS
The owner wrote: "I am enclosing some pictures of the house I am remodeling which has been over a period of years. Your expertise and craftsmanship on the Sawn Balusters, Sloped-top Bottom Rails and the Fleur Brackets has changed the look of the original house tremendously. Thanks for everything."
