Newel Caps
Cap bottoms are recessed 1-3/4" to fit over top of Newels. For safe shipping, Caps are shipped detached.
Half Newels (split lengthwise for use at walls) and Half Caps are available in drop-down below.

Optional Deluxe Installation Kit
Aluminum Brackets raise Newel 3/8" above floor. 2-1/4" tall PVC Sleeve and Wood Mouldings are slightly hollowed to fit over Brackets and extend to the floor. Thus, Sleeve or Mouldings cover 1-7/8" of the bottom of Newel when installed. Sleeve or Moulding extends 1" beyond each side of Post for a footprint of 7-1/8" x 7-1/8". A Standard Installation Kit is also available that extends 11/16'' beyond each side of Post at floor level for a footprint of 6-1/2" x 6-1/2".

Installation Kit for one Full Post Includes:
• 2 heavy duty aluminum Brackets with screws and instructions.
• PVC Sleeve or 4 pieces of Wood Moulding

Installation Kit for one Half Post Includes:
• 1 heavy duty aluminum Bracket with screws and instructions.
• PVC Half Sleeve or 3 pieces of Wood Moulding
