Poly Gable Corbels

Polyurethane Gable Corbels have sloping tops that match a given roof pitch (slope). Thus, when Gable Corbels are installed under the eave of a gable, the main body of the Corbel is perpendicular to the ground. This accentuates the entire gable in a very pleasing way!  Read more about Polyurethane.

To select Polyurethane Gable Corbels for your own gables
you need to know two things:
  1. The roof pitch of your gable.
  2. The depth of your soffit (click links for definitions and labeled drawings.)

The slope of the top of your chosen Gable Corbel must match the pitch (slope) of your gable roof, as explained in the example below. Also, it's projection measurement cannot exceed the depth of your soffit.

Gable Corbels

Example: if you have a steep 15/12 roof pitch with a soffit at least 11-1/8" deep, then Gable Corbel BL 2847L-15/12 above will fit your gable eave perfectly (L = left and 15/12 = 15/12 roof pitch). Each Gable Corbel comes in left (L) and right (R) versions for each side of a gable eave.

A stock number that does NOT indicate L, R, or pitch (such as version BL 2812) to the right above, does NOT have a sloped top. It's a 'regular' Corbel, although only the sloped top version is shown above.
