Common in the early part of the last century, Sawn Balusters are flat, not turned. Sawn Balusters authentically recreate the Gingerbread effect! Porches, balconies, landings, decks, and fences will look great when you add Vintage Woodworks Sawn Balusters.

We can add extra head and/or tail stock to increase the length of our Sawn Baluster. You will probably need this to install Sawn Balusters on stairs. Please inquire. For exterior projects it's very important to install your Balusters using Sloped-top Bottom Rail. We can notch your Balusters to perfectly fit this Rail.

We can also cut a centered 1/4" deep channel in the bottom of Subrails. This makes installation of Sawn Balusters much easier.
