These items are for interior use ONLY. They must NOT be used outside, as the channel in the Shoes will trap moisture and cause premature wood failure. For exterior projects, please use our Sloped-top Bottom Rail.

Shoe Rails may have finger-jointed laminations.

Match channel width to size of Square Baluster you wish to use. For a more finished look, install Fillet between Balusters in the channel of the Shoe Rail.

The Reversible Shoe (SM-6006) is designed to be used with either 1-3/4" or 1-5/8" Balusters. Simply install with proper Baluster width faced up and use corresponding Fillet to fill gaps between Balusters for a more professional and traditional look.

Note: Fillet is sold in Random Lengths.
To order, select Random Lengths (Fillet only) from the LENGTH drop down below and then update Quantity to the total footage needed.
