Premium High Density Polyurethane
Permanently moulded around a full-length, laminated hardwood core. Premium matte white finish. Our Polyurethane Porch Posts feel, sound, install, and paint (if you wish a different color) just like wood... but that's where the similarities end!

Advantages of Wood Core
Our wood core allows easy attachment of Rails, Brackets, and other decorative items using regular woodworking tools and hardware. Likewise, they can be cut-to-length during installation without special tools. Each Post is rated for a 5000 pound load.

Protective Shield Included
Each Post includes a removable 3/8" thick PVC Protective Bottom Shield and installation instructions. The Shield provides adequate moisture control but you may wish to add an optional Base Mounting Block, Mounting Plate, or Deluxe Installation Kit for a more traditional and finished appearance. (Deluxe Installation Kit will better guard against wind lift and lateral movement.)
