Typically, you will want about a 3" high kickspace below your Bottom Rails. This permits water drainage while keeping your Bottom Rails safely above damaging contact with the floor. An adequate kickspace is also more comfortable when standing next to the Railing.
Our standard Kickspace Blocks are 3" tall, but we also offer 4" tall Blocks.
