Several Traditional Spandrels include a choice of Spindle material, such as Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, or Redwood. Otherwise, turned parts are light-colored, smooth hardwoods, regardless which Rail material is ordered.
When Brackets are to be installed under Spool or Traditional Classic Spandrels, the Brackets' frames should be no wider than the Spandrel Rail they're used under. Standard top and bottom Rails are 1" x 1-3/4" Beaded Rails: except the 7" Spool Spandrel, which has 3/4" x 1-3/4" Moulded Rails: We can change any Railing size if requested.
