Likewise, they can be cut-to-length during installation without special tools. Each Post is rated for a 5000 pound load. FREE Sample Protective Shield Included Each Polyurethane Post and Half Post includes a removable 3/8" thick PVC Protective Bottom Shield and installation instructions. The Shield provides adequate moisture control but you may wish to add an optional Base Mounting Block, Mounting Plate, or Deluxe Installation Kit for a more traditional and finished appearance.
