Square top and bottom sections. 2" x 3" Oval Turned Cedar Balusters are less expensive than 3" x 3" Square Cedar Balusters. However, when Oval Balusters are installed with their wider face toward the street (as shown) they create a substantial effect similar to 3" x 3" Balusters. The turned section is oval rather than round and is quite elegant! IMPORTANT - If you're ordering Bottom Notching, we will assume you're installing the wider face out (as shown here) and we will notch accordingly unless you request otherwise.
