AZEK makes life easier!

AZEK Porch and Deck Boards require little maintenance to retain their beautiful color and wood-grain texture. AZEK’s cellular PVC formulation resists natural and man-made stains like wet leaves, fruit punch, wine, and ketchup from your burgers. The strong dense surface prevents grain loss and scratching even when faced with dog claws, furniture and high heels!

AVOID THESE ITEMS
• The use of rubber-backed mats, tarps, pool toys, and other non-porous items on the deck for an extended period of time may cause discoloration to the decking surface. Should that happen, AZEK tells us they recommend using a heat gun on low setting as a possible remedy. Keep heat 3" or more from the surface and use a constant back and forth motion over the problem area.

• Some products, such as sunblock and insect repellent, contain chemicals that may alter the surface of AZEK Deck. Check product labels and consult with the manufacturer as to product compatibility with plastic materials, such as AZEK Deck, prior to use on or near AZEK Deck.

CLEANING
Wash Periodically
To keep your AZEK Porch or Deck beautiful, wash it periodically to remove grease, dirt and debris. AZEK can be cleaned using liquid soaps such as dish or car wash. Specially formulated all purpose deck cleaners are also readily available in stores. Rinse with a garden hose.

Avoid Abrasive Cleaners
Cleaners containing abrasives can permanently dull the surface.

Remove Rust Stains
Use a household cleaner with phosphoric acid as the active ingredient (generally toilet bowl cleaners work well) and rinse with a garden hose.

Avoid rubber-backed mats
These can transfer excessive heat to your Porch or Deck Boards.

ICE REMOVAL
Rock Salt or Calcium Chloride
These can be used without damage. Both may leave a white residue which can be cleaned using the cleaning guidelines above.
